I never enter contests…. But here it is!
Those are my entries. First is my favorite. The other two are okay. I’m not expecting to win but it was fun.
Big New of the Day!
I’m “discontinuing” The Silent Winter. Sorta. Do you guys remember “hiatus” stories from Quizilla? Yeah, like that. In it’s place, I’ll be putting up an older story that’s like over 35,000 words and 65 pages. It’s a great story, I’m reworking it now, and I’ll be working on the layout for it shortly and getting it up for the world to see. I’m having trouble coming up with a name for it though. It’s had about a million names already but I don’t like any of them. I’m also making playlists for each of my stories because music inspires me so much when I write. There’s one song that sparked the entire idea for Nightingale. I owe that story to that song.
Design Updates!
I added three new designs today. Sorta.. One is brand new, the other two are older ones that I finally got around to revamping. But they all look great and I’m quite excited.

Just an anime layout. I like the textures in it though. A lot of the resources are my own.
- Tranquility
I know the graphic isn’t the best on this but the code is too good to let it go. Old favorite of mine.
- Little Red Riding Hood
Everyone’s favorite is back!

Uhm…. Work has been good. School has been good. I’m about to go commit myself to my room for the rest of the evening to write. So yeah. Busy. Tired. Reallllllyyyyyyyyy busy. Reallllllyyyyyyyyyyy tired.

Update 6/26/09
I went to go see Transformers last night. It was good. Confusing at parts and there were some stupid new characters but overall it was a really good movie. But that’s not what this update is about. I added new avatars! Let me explain: in the theatre, there were four great big posters for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. It comes out next March and the posters were awesome. So I found the pictures and made avatars!

Basically, I love Anne Hathaway, I love Johnny Depp, I love Helena Bonham Carter, and I love Alan Rickman. Stoked. Positively stoked.

I have no updates but I do have a new hostee, which is even better! His name is Steven, he’s from New York, and he is quite talented. His site is Burning Bright. I suggest you check him out. Welcome to the family!
In other news, or lack there of, I swear I’m not dead. I’m just amazingly busy. I know what you’re thinking… Angela, busy… Phhh! She doesn’t have a life! Apparently now I do. I’m taking Physical Anthropology at the local junior college so that takes up my mornings, then I go to work which takes up my afternoon, and then I come home and do my homework for my class, which takes up the rest of my day. As you can tell, there’s no room in a day like that to update. Weekends and Friday mornings, I’m free though so I will update, just sparingly. I also have my summer assignments to get done for my AP courses so that has priority, especially this weekend, so don’t expect any updates for a bit, okay?
Although I am finishing my book, Game of Thrones this weekend (or today) so I’ll find some time for a book review! I’m also thinking about writing some tutorials on various things and adding some more photography. In addition, I want to update my writing shortly and I’ll be posting blogs about my AP summer assignment. I’ve been taking photos of the progress. So there are the plans for you.. Not in any short order of course.

My last post was bogged down with comments in one day so I decided to put a rush on this post. In other news, I added another icon texture pack. It’s sorta a mixed grab but I like them. I also have about 200 photos of light stocks sitting on my camera card that need to be resized and put up. So I guess I’ll be getting to that.
I also started my AP Summer Art Assignment today. I took pictures so I can share the process. This morning, I woke up at 4:30 AM to go see them launch hot air balloons nearby. It was wicked. I had Robyn come too. He was funny at that hour. When I wasn’t taking pictures, he was making fun of me. So watch out for those photos. They are amazing!
Just to add to my pile, I start my anthropology class next week and then I have to bus over to work where my hours might be going up. Work is awesome by the way! As always, take care!
Another action pack! This one is so awesome and they work on virtually every, single picture you have. The purpose of these is they bring out one or many colors and desaturates the rest of the image. A few of them also tweak the rest of the photo to make things stand out and to add tints. They are fabulous and all-purpose. These are my favorite so far. Just wait and see! Because they work on color, I’m using the following picture because it has every color in it and it’s sort of vintage-esque.
